80年後半DJデビューしてから現在に至るまで国内のディスコ/クラブでの豊富なプレイ経験を持つ。

単純にクラブでのプレイだけに飽きたらず1994年、NMS (ニュー・ミュージック・セミナー)DJ BATTLE FOR WORLD SUPREMACY JAPAN FINAL DJ BATTLEに出場し、初出場ながら3位という結果をの残す。その後もクラブプレイとバトルDJの二面性のプレイスタイルを持ち続け、DJというものに対して幅広く勢力的に活動する。また当時は両方をこなすDJは少なかった。

1999年にアーティスト「DANCE☆MAN」のバックDJに抜擢され、以降「THE BAND MAN」のターンテーブルプレイヤーとして全国、またドイツツアーや、数々の音楽番組に出演する。 ライヴや音楽番組では多数のミュージシャン・アーティストと競演、またジャンルを超えた国内著名アーティストとのスタジオセッションを行う。

2006年Pioneerサポートの基、現在はすっかり普及してきた映像を駆使した””スタイルを国内でいち早く取り入れたDJでもあり、音と映像がリンクした次世代プレイは各界から注目され、クラブイベントを軸に、海外アーティストのフロントアクト、ファッションショーなどさまざまな形態のイベントにオファーの声がかかる。

そして2008年12月には、日本国内では2番目のオフィシャルのMIX DVD「V.I.P BEST DVD MIX」(発売元：EMI ミュージックジャパン)のミックス、選曲を担当する。音声はもちろんだが、特に映像のシーンやフレームにこだわったミックスワークは ”FIRST VDJ”と言われるスキルが本作の随所にみられる。その他、ビートメイカーとしてラッパー、シンガーへのトラック提供やプロデュースワーク、DJ Kaz名義でのリミックスをリリースやレーベルのオフィシャルMIX CD制作、コンピレーションCDの選曲監修、企画までをこなすマルチプレーヤーである。
